Originally from Shreveport, LA, and a 2020 graduate from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor’s in Animal Science and Technology and a minor in Psychology. I’ve been working in the Veterinary Field for over 9 years in many different specialties, including Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Surgery, Oncology, Dermatology, and mostly Emergency and Critical Care. I joined VVC under a year ago and have been captivated by the experience of working in a specialized department that is new to me. My red Golden Retriever named Fish, is the best sidekick for all life’s adventures. When not working at VVC, I enjoy running with Fish, cooking, furniture restoration, golfing with my husband, and trying/learning new things that challenge me.
